The day we brought home our first puppy, we felt two things at once, pure joy and complete overwhelm. We wanted to give our little one the very best, but had no idea where to start. We spent hours reading labels, asking strangers for advice, and second-guessing every decision: Am I feeding the right food? Am I training the right way? Am I a good enough dog parent?

Like so many of you, we made mistakes along the way. We bought things we didn’t need, we cried the first time our puppy got sick, and we stayed up at night worrying if we were doing it right.
